The Harborfields Central School District Board of Education recognized three exceptional students at its meeting on Dec. 18.
Hannah Proce won second place in the Young Professional Chamber of Commerce’s 17th annual Emerging Leaders Business Competition in retail marketing and Will Barbaccia, who could not attend the meeting, won second place in sports and entertainment marketing. More than 300 students participated in this year’s competition from schools all across Long Island.

Additionally, sophomore Julienne Saliou was congratulated for recently completing the most impressive swim season that has ever been achieved by a Harborfields swimmer. She earned All-League, All-County, All-Long Island and All-State swimming titles and broke two school records.
