A Spaghetti Success

Sixth-grade students at Oldfield Middle School were treated to a delicious spaghetti dinner in March, an annual event sponsored by the sixth-grade parents. The event raises funds to help cover costs associated with trips and activities in the seventh and eighth grade. More than 400 people attended the dinner, during which students volunteered to serve as the wait staff. Business and families throughout the community donated baskets to be raffled off, as well.
Thank you to the parent committee who assisted with the evening, including chairs Katie Mittelman and Christin DiSimone, as well as grade-level advisors Monica Zenyuh and Mariette Fanning. Thanks also to Caruso’s who catered the evening and 1800 Flowers who donated the centerpieces.
