Members of the National Junior Honor Society at Oldfield Middle School recently completed their three-week “Pennies for Patients” campaign. The students created a March Madness competition among the lunch sections to see who could raise the most money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. As a school, the students set a goal of collecting $2,000. They surpassed this amount by raising $2,600. In celebration of their efforts and accomplishment, the students were treated to a pizza party. Pictured at right are the seventh-graders who alone raised almost half of the total collection.
