Spelling Bee Champion

Oldfield Middle School is proud to announce that sixth-grade student Bella Sember won first place in the school’s annual Spelling Bee.

After ten competitive rounds, Sember claimed the first place title for correctly spelling “mercurial,” while seventh-grade student Christian Melhado was the runner-up.

As the winner, Sember received a free one-year membership to Britannica Online for Kids and will move on to represent her school in the Scripps National Spelling Program Regional Contest at Hofstra University on Sunday, February 8.
