At the February Board of Education meeting, Timothy Russo was appointed as the new assistant principal of Harborfields High School. He will officially assume his duties on July 1, 2015.

Since 2002, Russo has been part of the Harborfields faculty, working as a high school social studies teacher. Over time, he transitioned to the position of dean in the student management office. In addition to his academic services, Russo has been essential to the district’s after-school sports programs. In past years, he has coached Harborfields boys and girls cross-country, winter and spring track, boys lacrosse and boys basketball.

“I am extremely excited to have the chance to work with the exceptional leadership team that is in place in the Harborfields School District,” said Russo. “I look forward to continuing to support our students, teachers and community as a whole in achieving the excellence we are all accustomed to.”
