NYSUT School-Related Professional of the Year

Harborfields teaching assistant Annie McClintock was recently named 2015 New York State United Teacher’s School-Related Professional of the Year.

Since 2000, McClintock has worked as a one on one special education teaching assistant in each of the district’s four school buildings. Nominated by her colleagues, McClintock was selected for this honor from more than 91,000 school-related professionals in the state. A Harborfields resident since 1960 and a former Harborfields High School graduate, McClintock has been an active member of the community, a role model to her colleagues and has contributed to the success of numerous students in the district.
“As a teaching assistant, I have the opportunity to provide support to our students who will one day be productive, civic-minded members of our communities, and for this I am blessed and honored to be recognized as SRP of the Year,” said McClintock.
