On Thursday, May 26, kindergarten students at Washington Drive Primary School in the Harborfields Central School District donned their red, white and blue and showcased their American spirit during the school’s annual Memorial Day parade. Family members gathered around the school’s bus loop and watched as the energetic youngsters paraded around, waving homemade pom-poms and marching to patriotic songs. Following the brief parade, the kindergarteners sang a variety of tunes, including “God Bless America,” “America the Beautiful” and “You’re a Grand Old Flag.”
Pictured are some highlights of the parade.
