Exceptional Visual Artwork

Demonstrating their artistic talents, Harborfields High School students Pamela Best and Shannon O’Reilly recently had their artwork accepted and showcased in the Heckscher Museum of Art in Huntington.

In its 19th year, Long Island’s Best Exhibition challenges students in grades nine through 12 from across Nassau and Suffolk counties to choose a work of art in the museum as the starting point for their own creative exploration. The quality of the artwork is exceptional and delivers a professional-level show. This year, 311 works of art from 54 high schools across Long Island were submitted for jurying, and 80 works of art in various media were selected for the exhibition.

Congratulations to these student-artists on this prestigious accomplishment.
