Harborfields Earns Gold

The district is proud to report that Harborfields High School has been awarded a gold medal in the 2016 U.S. News & World Report Best High Schools competition.  

This prestigious contest evaluates schools based upon college readiness, graduation rate, participation in Advanced Placement courses and state proficiency standards. Based on these criteria, Harborfields has been recognized as being among the finest educational institutions in the country.  

This recognition has earned Harborfields High School a third-place ranking in Suffolk County, a 12th-place designation on Long Island, a 54th-place ranking in New York State and a ranking of 453 out of the 21,000 high schools in the nation. Additionally, HHS ranked 235 in the competition’s Best STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) Schools national category.
