Honoring Students’ Success

Harborfields Central School District is pleased to name Bridget Greene and Cyril Danielkutty the Class of 2012 valedictorian and salutatorian, respectively. Throughout their academic careers, these students worked diligently to demonstrate the characteristics of the Harborfields “Tradition of Excellence.” It is with great pride that the district recognizes their achievements.
With success in all areas academic, athletic and social, Greene is the picture of Harborfields success. She boasts an impressive 106.57 GPA, indicative of the level of commitment she has for all that she does. Whether singing with the jazz vocal ensemble or playing lacrosse and volleyball on the varsity teams (which she also captains), Greene dedicates herself to her craft. With dreams of working with the U.S. Department of State and the United Nations to improve relations between the United States and Latin America, Greene will be attending Columbia University in the fall where she will study political science and economics and minor in Hispanic studies.
Salutatorian Danielkutty has an impressive resume as well. He is an AP Scholar with Distinction, a National Merit Scholarship Finalist and the recipient of the Suffolk County Science Teachers Association Outstanding Senior in Science Award. Danielkutty will be attending Stony Brook University Honors College in the fall to study bio-medical engineering on a pre-medicine track.
