National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist Named

Congratulations to Harborfields High School student Amanda Conklin, who has been named a 2013 National Merit Scholarship semifinalist. This recognition places Amanda in the top one percent of the country and distinguishes her from over 1.5 million worthy candidates. It is a remarkable accomplishment to be chosen as one of the approximately 16,000 nationwide semifinalists announced.
“It is an honor for any student to be designated as a semifinalist,” remarked Principal Dr. Rory Manning. “We also know that this honor is the result of many years of hard work, dedication and commitment on behalf of Amanda to her academic studies. Congratulations to Amanda and the Conklin family.”
