On Jan. 3, Harborfields High School business students competed in the Suffolk County Regional DECA Competition at Suffolk County Community College. Nine students were named regional finalists, one honorable mention, and one third place winner, Annika Browne, who will be will be advancing onto the state-level competition that will be held Rochester in March.

More than 1,000 students from Suffolk County participated in this regional competition.

DECA’s mission is to prepare students to become leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management.
