Congratulations to 32 Harborfields students – from grades 5-12 – who were recently selected to perform in one of four orchestral ensembles as part of Long Island String Festival Association’s 2019-20 concerts in January.

LISFA was founded in 1956 and has spread from just three string orchestras, encompassing all of Long Island, to a total of eight ensembles – four for Suffolk County and four for Nassau.

“The success of LISFA lies in the strength of the string teachers on Long Island, their talented students, the parents who support their musical development and the quality of the conductors who together celebrate the power of music.”
