PTSA NEWS for January 2008 and beyond...

Stay warm and cozy this season! Here's what's happening with the PTSA:

Graduation Announcements are available through PTSA: $2.50 each or 5 for $10.00

Our nominating committee has been formed and will accept letters of intent if you are interested in consideration for a position on the executive board. The deadline for these letters is Valentine's Day.

PTSA Meetings: Our next PTSA meeting will be held on Thursday March 6th in the Cafeteria. On the agenda: Student of the Month, Principal's Update, and a presentation by our Suffolk County Legislator Steve Stern: the county's Task Force on Underage Drinking and the Social Host Law. All of our meetings are listed on the school calendar.

Membership: We are still working on our Membership Drive. As of January 18, we have 577 members! We're on the march toward 700! With your support, we are providing $50.00 grants to many clubs and student activity groups. Membership also provides programs for students and parents. If you have already joined, we thank you. If not, please send your name and phone number with a check made out to HHS PTSA ($10.00 for each membership) to:
HHS PTSA, 98 Taylor Ave. Greenlawn 11740.
Remember, students can be members of the PTSA as well and can attend our meetings.

Get Involved: You may be interested in signing up for a PTSA committee. Contact the contact PTSA. Come to the PTSA meetings and enjoy all the events at the HHS. Be a part of the action!
