Harborfields Central School District maintains a distinctive reputation for academic excellence coupled with technology-rich learning environments that facilitates the development of student learning strategies, sustains student academic mastery and prepares Harborfields graduates for college and career.
All students K-12 have an individual login account and each can personally maintain up to 25MBs of server disk space. Students have access to network resources, and develop a portfolio of their work that is stored digitally on district servers and may be accessed from any school computer.
All the libraries are fully automated using Follett Library Automation software. Networked computers are used for the Online Public Access Catalogs, circulation and cataloging. All libraries have monochrome printing and color laser printing are also available in each library or adjoining computer lab.
All K- 5 classrooms have at least 3-networked computers and a shared printer. Each 6-12 grade level classrooms have at least 1-networked computer and an printer. All our schools have computer labs that average 30 workstations and have both a monochrome and color high capacity laser printer.
