The Harborfields Alumni and Community Educational Foundation (HACEF) was established in 2003 to promote and enhance educational opportunities for the children of our community. The Foundation supports initiatives beyond the scope of the district’s budget and actively seeks donations to fund grants for educationally-related projects and scholarships for students.
Within the past two years, HACEF has funded over $19,000 in scholarships for graduating seniors and has provided several thousand dollars in grants to support K – 12 district-wide programs. One of HACEF’s most significant achievements during the 2005-2006 school year was the Save Our Schools campaign which raised over $30,000 to support the reinstatement of many programs that were eliminated due to the contingency budget.
We look forward to another exciting year and hope that you will be able to support HACEF’s mission by becoming a sponsor, participating in our fundraising efforts, or by making a donation to HACEF. Your tax-deductible donation can be mailed to HACEF, 2 Oldfield Road, Greenlawn, New York 11740 or returned to the HACEF mailbox located in the main office of each school.
