The Harborfields Central School District held a community forum on the reopening of schools at its latest board of education meeting on Aug. 19. Administrators discussed aspects of the reopening plan, including in-person, remote learning and hybrid models, as well as new safety and health protocols. Additionally, parents and community members had an opportunity to have their questions answered in regards to the reopening of schools in September.

The Harborfields reopening plan was designed within the guidance of the New York State Department of Health and New York State Education Department, and was recently modified to include feedback received from the community.

As always, Harborfields is committed to providing its students with a “world-class education, one child at a time.”
