The Harborfields Central School District was pleased to welcome eight new teachers at its annual New Staff Orientation program last month.
The new hires were virtually introduced to district administrators and learned the tools to be successful both in and out of the classroom. Superintendent of Schools Dr. Francesco Ianni, Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources and Instructional Services Maureen Raynor and Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction and Administration Dr. Rory Manning took time to discuss the district’s vision: “to provide a world-class education, one child at a time.”
Additionally, the teachers were trained on the district’s new health and safety protocols, and given a crash course on the array of virtual tools available to them, such as Google Classroom.
