At Harborfields High School, students are continuing to find new ways to connect with their community. On Jan. 28, students in Christopher Zenyuh’s Science of Nutrition class participated in an online cheese tasting seminar, offered by Jessica Affatato, owner of Harbor Cheese and Provisions.

The East Northport Cheesemonger introduced students to four different cheeses, explaining the characteristics, ingredients and origins of each. Tasting kits included Purple Haze, Nancy’s Camembert, Valdeon and Manchego Reserva cheeses, each of which were individually packaged and personally delivered to Harborfields High School for distribution.
