The Coronavirus has impacted many events over the past several months and although Harborfields High School DECA students couldn't physically travel to MetLife Stadium, that did not stop the New York Jets Sports Business Day from taking place. Although there is something to be said and a "wow-factor" of walking around the stadium, this does not mean that a virtual program is any less beneficial, according to DECA advisor Alison Matthews.

Harborfields has taken part in this program for the past five years, and despite the virtual shift, students were still excited to attend a Q&A with Jets Social Media Manager Kevin Kline.

“In today's environment, social media is an ever-growing force that is constantly changing,” Matthews said. “Knowing this, students were able to get the best possible ‘inside look’ into the everyday tasks, problems and adaptations a person working in sports social media endures.”
