On March 17, the Harborfields School District Board of Education was proud to recognize several student athletes for their achievements in diving and bowling.
Harborfields High School junior Alex Zhang won his third consecutive Suffolk County Diving Championship with a score of 522.80 over 11 dives at Hauppauge High School on Feb. 19. Additionally, the boys varsity swim team finished in second place — the highest achieved in many years — in the team championship. Congratulations!
The high school varsity bowling team also made Harborfields history in February as the first bowling team to win the Small Schools Bowling Championship. Congratulations to the team and to coach Robert Franco!
