Second grade students in Melinda O'Donoghue’s class at Washington Drive Primary School participated in a virtual read-in on May 14. Ms. O’Donoghue has a tradition of inviting families to come in and read to students throughout the building. This year, due to Covid-19 restrictions, she held the read-in online. Parents logged into a Google Meet with the class and then broke out into small groups to read different books. After the read-in, students participated in an arts and craft activity organized by the parents.
