Students start first day with a smile

All four schools throughout the district kicked off the school year on Sept. 3, with teachers and staff welcoming new and returning students with friendly smiles. Students entered school eager to meet new teachers, reunite with friends and begin the next chapter of their academic careers. Teachers introduced students to their new instructional setting and facilitated opportunities for students to interact with their new teacher and classmates.

Harborfields High School Principal Dr. Rory Manning was excited to greet students on the first day. “The first day of classes was filled with excitement,” he said. “It was great to see the halls of our school come to life.”

The district looks forward to a fantastic 2014-2015 school year!
