IMG_9636.JPG thumbnail9460
Oldfield Middle School eighth-grade student James Tully recently represented Harborfields in the New York State Geographic Bee in Albany, NY. James was chosen as one of only 100 students from across the state invited to compete at the state level.

Upon winning the school level bee, James was required to complete a written qualifying exam. The results of the exam placed him among students advancing to Albany and provided him with an opportunity to win a $25,000 college scholarship.

James did a fine job representing Harborfields in Albany, nearing the top ten. Well done!
