In its 13th year of granting wishes, the Harborfields Central School District is again partnering with the Make-a-Wish foundation to conduct a Walk for a Wish— a fundraising event that helps raise money for a child with a life-threatening illness. This years’ funds will be donated Frank, the 12-year-old boy, who is battling a life-threatening illness and whose wish is to go to Atlantis in the Bahamas. The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 13, from 9-10 a.m. on the HHS track.

On March 11, two TJL teachers (Ms. Diane Brown and Ms. Amy Lustig) conducted an assembly at TJL to announce the upcoming event. They shared some of the ways that students can raise money for Frank, and were encouraged to get involved in things like bake sales in their neighborhoods, or donate their allowance, or think up other creative ways to make Frank’s wish come true.

Please consider partnering with us in making Frank’s wish come true by donating.
