The Harborfields High School chapter of the Tri-M Music Honor Society held its annual induction ceremony on Sept. 23.

Nineteen new student members and eight continuing student members were inducted into the prestigious organization, which recognizes and emphasizes academic success, service to the community and musical achievement.  Additional inductees included the evening’s guest speaker, music educator and alumni Michael Baur, Guidance Counselor Jackie Best and Mathematics teacher Cathy Purcell.

The High School Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Greg Antonelli, provided processional music for the evening, and a trio of All-State musicians—Hope Lusby, Lea Andreadis and Angeline Miraglia—delivered the event’s showcase musical performance.

“The students who were inducted tonight personify dedication and achievement,” Ms. Allison Scilla, Harborfields’ Tri-M Chapter Advisor, said.  “We are so grateful for their participation in our program."
