Dear Community Resident:
I would like to thank you for visiting our district website. We maintain this site daily to keep all community members informed of current news and events taking place in the district. Please feel free to bookmark this site and check back frequently to see what is new in the district. In addition, please look for the arrival in your mailboxes of our latest edition of the district’s newsletter, Harborfields Highlights, which continually features all events of note going on in all of our buildings.
As you know, our students are constantly engaging in projects to enhance their character and academics. From year-round community service projects to excelling on mandated tests, Harborfields’ students are constantly pushing the bar higher and higher. For this, I have to thank my dedicated staff who are forever seeking ways to enhance their professional development and make our students the best and brightest.
I would like to invite all area residents to become involved in our school district – whether by volunteering time in one of our four schools, by becoming a member of your child’s Parent Teacher Association, or by attending one of the many wonderful events happening in our district to support our students. I would also like to encourage community members to become active in the district’s budget process by attending upcoming Board workshops and community forums. We value the input of all community members – your feedback is vital to the formation of the school district budget. Our primary goal throughout the budget process, as always, is to provide essential programs and services to our students while remaining sensitive to the taxpayers of our community.
