On March 17 and 18, more than 50 Oldfield Middle School students had the unique opportunity to pick up the chalk and work alongside their teachers as colleagues. Organized by the student government, the 10th annual “Teacher for a Day” event was split into two days to accommodate for COVID-19 precautions.

While this year’s event looked different, it offered students a unique opportunity to teach not just in front of the classroom but in front of the webcam as well. Paired with teachers throughout the building, students took control of the classroom teaching lessons in foreign languages, history, science and more.
