Eighth grade students at Oldfield Middle School recently made cards, banners, lawn signs and videos to honor first responders in their community for their brave work on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic. The students raised nearly $1,000 in donations from the United Teachers of Harborfields, district administrators and the school’s PTA.

Huntington Coach provided transportation for 11 eighth graders, free of charge, to visit Huntington Hospital, Stony Brook University Children's Hospital, Northport VA Medical Center and Carillon Nursing Home to deliver the handmade goods.
