Harborfields High School is among the nation's 1,000 best, according to the U.S. News & World Report’s annual list. This year’s "Best High Schools" edition ranked nearly 18,000 public high schools and included states that graduated the highest percentage of students.

According to the U.S. News & World Report, the methodology for identifying the top ranked “Best High Schools” was developed with a core principle in mind: that the top schools must serve all students well and must produce measurable academic outcomes that support this mission. With its dedication to success for every student and student-focused work of the entire school community, Harborfields High School embodies this day in and day out.

"I am very proud of the achievements of our students and staff," Superintendent of Schools Dr. Rory Manning said. "It should be a point of pride that we are able to maintain a welcoming and affirming learning environment for all students while sustaining high levels of academic excellence."
