Thomas J. Lahey Elementary School students recently used the Kikori app to engage in social-emotional learning activities. In “Operation: Object Mover,” students were asked to hold pencils at the ends and work together to move rubber balls into a container, using communication and teamwork skills to accomplish their task. In another activity, “Web of Kindness,” students took turns passing a yarn ball to a classmate and giving them a compliment until a full web was created.

“We then discussed how it feels good to get a compliment and learn the things that others like about you,” teacher Samantha Little said. “The students really enjoyed this lesson.”
