Harborfields High School celebrated National Teach Business Day on Oct. 19, led by Business Department Coordinator Dr. Alison Matthews and business teachers Tara Beal and Harman Kaur. The business courses taught at Harborfields include career awareness, college accounting, college marketing, college business law and computer apps. The school has two student internship programs, a pathway in entrepreneurship and a new CTE pathway in education, all approved by New York State. Harborfields business students can also join the DECA Club and the brand-new Business & Marketing Honor Society.
