Numerous deserving students were recognized at Oldfield Middle School’s annual All-Star Awards Breakfast on May 16. Each student was introduced with words of praise from the teacher that had nominated them.
The All-Star Awards are designed for students who may not be eligible for more traditional awards. Nominees typically have made small strides throughout the year, achieved personal goals or academic gains, shown overall positive attitude or overcome hardships to meet with their own level of success from an academic, social, emotional or behavioral standpoint.
“These awards are our opportunity to recognize the contributions of our students at every level – their character, effort and attitude,” guidance counselor Dahlia Roemer said.
