Meet Harborfields High School’s 2023 Valedictorian and Salutatorian

Harborfields High School recently announced the Class of 2023’s valedictorian, Lindsay Sung, and the salutatorian, Alexa Best.

Sung is an active member of her school community, an athlete and musician, and member of multiple clubs, including the National Honor Society, Tri-M Music Honor Society and Rho Kappa. She volunteers and works at the local library. Sung enjoys research and intends to pursue electrical or chemical engineering in college.

Best is an accomplished athlete, participating in swimming both in and out of school, as well as a highly active musician in the Harborfields concert and marching bands. She is a member of the National Honor Society and Tri-M Music Honor Society). Best volunteers at the local library, and enjoys crocheting and calligraphy.

“After years of hard work, the two students who have earned these designations have good reason to be very proud,” Principal Dr. Marie Netto said. “Both Lindsay and Alexa are wonderful role models for their peers and our underclassmen. Their active participation in sports, our music program and extracurricular clubs demonstrates a healthy ability to maintain high academic standards while still enjoying the total high school experience. On behalf of Harborfields High School, we are so proud of their accomplishments.”
