Harborfields High School Named to U.S. New & World Report Best High Schools List

On Tuesday, August 19, U.S. News & World Report released their public high school rankings for 2025-2026. The Harborfields Central School District is proud to share that Harborfields High School is on the list, ranking 46th in New York State.
The U.S. News rankings include data on more than 24,000 public high schools, including charter and subject-focused schools. They study graded high schools on state exam performance, graduation rates, college readiness, and student outcomes, including participation and success in Advanced Placement courses.

Harborfields High School has 918 students in grades 9 - 12 and offers students a well-rounded experience that promotes academic excellence, personal growth, and meaningful engagement.Students benefit from a wide array of Advanced Placement and college-credit courses, a nationally recognized fine and performing arts program, and an advanced science research program. Real-world learning is fostered through internships and four Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways. Service and student leadership are cornerstones of the Harborfields experience. An expansive selection of student clubs and school-specific programs empower students to take on leadership roles and to contribute meaningfully to their school community.
