Harborfields Central School District

All throughout the month of November, Washington Drive, Thomas J. Lahey, Oldfield Middle School, and Harborfields High School held food drives to collect donations for HACO. The generosity of the community is truly inspiring. Once the donations left the district, they were delivered to HACO’s food pantry in Huntington. Dr. Manning joined HACO volunteers, Harborfields Board Trustee Dr. Wojcik, and many students and recent alumni to distribute the food. They spent an entire Saturday morning loading full Thanksgiving meals onto delivery vehicles that were brought to families all over the Harborfields community. The hundreds of bags of food that each building donated helped HACO provide those full Thanksgiving meals to families in need. 
A heartfelt thanks to the district’s incredible maintenance staff who carried bags to the school lobbies, loaded the truck, and delivered every donation with care.
