Spotlight on Student Artists!
Student artists from the high school have been hard at work and getting recognized for their creativity and talent. Continue reading to learn about some recent art accomplishments!
The Suffolk County Art Leaders Association (SCALA) selected artwork from four Harborfields High School students and displayed it at the All County and Scholarship Art Show at Babylon Town Hall from February 9 –March 4! Congratulations to Talia Steinberg, Isabella Secko, Julian Tchinnis, and Jayden Lee! Additionally, Talia’s artwork was recognized with an Award of Excellence for her powerful piece celebrating inspirational women in history.

Three Harborfields High School students, Maggie Deegan, Patrick O'Brien, and Julian Tchinnis, will have original artwork on display at the Go APE 2026 Advanced Placement Student Exhibition at the Art League of Long Island! The exhibition features 2D and 3D works by 76 Advanced Placement students from 30 Long Island high schools. Their pieces will be on display at the Jeanie Tengelsen Gallery from March 7 – March 21.
Maggie Deegan and Patrick O’Brien also had artwork chosen for the juried Long Island Media Art Exhibit at Five Towns College on March 27. Both artists have been doing amazing work in AP Art for 2D design portfolio.

Julian Tchinnis was selected for the Long Island’s Best: Young Artists Exhibit at the Heckscher Museum. This prestigious exhibition will be on view from March 29 through May 3.\
Original artwork created by seven Harborfields High School students has been selected for the 2026 High Arts Showcase! This annual exhibition, presented by the Huntington Arts Council, highlights the incredible talent of juniors and seniors from the JOURNEY Program's partner schools. Congratulations to Chloe Goettinger, Lorna Skibins, Reese Nitekman, Julian Tchinnis, Brynn Gerde, Chloe Prangenberg, and Yanna Constantatos. The exhibition will be open March 31 – April 26.
