Harborfields High School inducted 121 new National Honor Society members, including 24 seniors, in a lovely Oct. 12 ceremony at the high school’s auditorium.

After NHS Tutoring Coordinator Emma Kirshchner led the pledge of allegiance, Principal Dr. Marie Netto welcomed the audience of proud parents and family members. During the candle ceremony, introduced by President Aliyah Steinberg, five Executive Board members – Vice President Daniel Panettieri, Community Service Coordinator James Ricci, Publicist Briana Mercuri, Secretary Lindsay Sung, and Historian Ivie-Ann Mergille – lit the candles and spoke on the NHS standards of scholarship, leadership, service and character. Steinberg then led the new inductees in the NHS pledge.
