On Jan. 23, surprised students at Washington Drive Primary School found out that they had won the Principal’s Challenge for reading 2,023 hours during Parents as Reading Partners week. Their exciting reward was getting to watch a BMX bike rider perform stunts and jump over two “lucky administrators,” Principal Kathryn McNally and Assistant Principal Kerry Neira, to celebrate the young readers’ PARP accomplishment.
