“Vividly,” “social” and “argue” were just a few of the words that fourth and fifth graders had to spell at Thomas J. Lahey Elementary School’s annual spelling bee on Jan. 7.

Leading up to the competition, each classroom held its own spelling bee to determine the nineteen students that would move forward.

After several rounds, Sayla Fives was crowned the Lahey Champion and Gavin Baron earned second place. Congratulations students!
