Sweet Sensation in Education

Students in the French Club at Harborfields High School took a trip to the Bon Bon’s Chocolatier in Huntington, where they received a tour of the facility and learned about how chocolate is made. The students were educated on how to make a chocolate mold, the transformation of cocoa beans to create a chocolate bar and the proper technique for dipping caramel apples. They also met with French chef Eric Lobignat and heard about his experiences as a chocolatier, making chocolate in both France and the United States.
